JON FISHMAN TO JOIN JMP ON SUMMER TOUR

The Jazz Mandolin Project hits the road again - with a great schedule of dates all across the country, and an incredible lineup of top-notch musicians guaranteed to impress! Along with Jamie Masefield leading the band on mandolin, you will find the following lineup from May 27 - June 12: Jon Fishman on Drums, Danton Boller on Upright Bass and Effects, and Michael "Mad Dog" Mavridoglou on Keyboards and Trumpet. Highlights of the tour include our first ever play at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT (with our friends Al & The Transamericans), headlining the Pittsburgh Folk Fest, three dates out in California opening up for Vida Blue featuring the Spam All-Stars, and of course, the one and only, Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN! After Bonnaroo, Mark Giuliana (from the Avashi Cohen Group) takes over on drums, along with Jamie, Danton, and MadDog. During that stretch, the band returns to one of it's favorite towns in the states, Lawrence, Kansas - to play the great Wakarusa Festival at Clinton Lake State Park. In July, Fishman returns to play drums and we head to the House of Blues in Chicago to play with Soulive, play 2 days at the 10,000 Lakes Festival and finish up at the All Good Festival in Masontown, WV.
