On Sat. April 24, Bela Fleck and the Flecktone's famous tune "Sex in a Pan" took a twist it never has before. It was at Middlebury College, close to Jamie's home where he finally had the honor of sitting in with Bela (an important influence) for the first time. The crowd was treated to a wild swapping back and forth of jazzy licks between a banjo and mandolin that built to crescendo that left traditionalists scratching their heads, in a hockey arena. It was a memorable night of innovation.
